Job Description:

eCivis is currently seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive for the rapidly growing State Government market to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced at sourcing, developing, and growing Enterprise Accounts, specifically within state government.  

You will be responsible for driving new sales opportunities as well as maintaining and growing existing client relationships for the eCivis platform. The goal is to meet and surpass the company’s expectations to drive rapid and sustainable growth. We are a rapidly growing organization and provide excellent benefits and compensation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a new business/prospecting plan for the territory
  • Target, contact, and engage prospects and work with clients through the sales cycle
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across the territory
  • Develop an understanding of State Agency needs and opportunities to deliver high-impact solutions and manage the client roadmap.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations on products and services
  • Collaborate with the extended sales team on opportunities
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Manage existing accounts and continue to build pipeline
  • Accurately forecast opportunities for a rolling 12-month cycle
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers in existing client organizations
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.


Requirements (Skills and Qualifications):

  • The role will be based out of Sacramento, Ca.- Remote- Applicant MUST live in or near Sacramento.
  • 5+ years of experience selling enterprise-wide SaaS solutions to state government agencies.
  • Familiarity with government sales cycles and experience closing contracts with year 1 ACV up to $3 million.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to achieve set goals and deadlines
  • Understanding of project delivery and coordination with delivery teams
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
  • Strong prospecting and networking skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field of study
  • Firm understanding of GOVTECH or Grants Process is preferred
